Zmud re-occuring error |
an error occurs when i try to connect to any mud, it reads "zSock error 2:10055" in the toolbar at the bottom at the far left. This happens randomly but very frequently, and sometimes i can connect freely in multiple tries at the beginning of a day, but a few hours later this same error will occur. I have no clue what to do and it would be great if someone could help me out..

I have never seen such an error before. My first suggestion is assure that you have current drivers for all your hardware. If your internet connection is provided by an ethernet card you should be absolutely sure those drivers are up to date. There were many problems in the earlier days of XP and bad default drivers for ethernet cards.
My next suggestion is to email support@zuggsoft.com to bring the error message directly to Zugg's attention. Be sure to include system specs such as hardware and OS version, and zMud version. There were no reported changes to the internet interface portion of zMud for many versions, but there may have been a change that doesn't show in the version history. Also include any steps you have taken to try fixing this problem and as much information as possible about the usage that causes it. |
