%w %1 trigger problems |
ok, im trying to set up a trigger that pulls information from the mud then uses that information in a trigger that fires off. i tried following the example in the help files for an autoreply.
it says #TRIGGER {(%w) tells you} {tell %1 I am busy}
when i type that in it sets the trigger, but when someone sends me a tell it triggers EXACTLY:
tell %1 I am busy
it doesnt change the %1 to what the (%w) should be. im using version 7.04. do i have to some how set %1 to look for %w?
any help would be appriciated!
i will look through the forum more for the answer but havent seen it so far, if i do see it i will remove this note to clear clutter :) |

It would look like you have changed the default Parameter char from a % into something else. Go to View, Preferences, Special Characters, and check that % is your active Parameter char.
