Problem starting for win `98

Whenever I try to start ver 7.03, an error message pops up saying:

Code:
Sorry, could not get license at this time.
please try running this program later.

There was a thread that resounded something like this but it was locked and it was only for XP. Please help.

Your frustration is definitely understandable. It can be quite trying when stuff doesn't work the way it is supposed to. However, do keep in mind that the Gurus and other people who post on the forums are volunteers and try to answer questions as soon as possible. That said, this appears to be a code 23 error. There's an entry in the [url="http://www.zuggsoft.com/zmud/elicense.htm#I%20am%20getting%20a%20"Code%2023"%20error"]eLicense FAQ[/url] about this and the solution is basically to send an e-mail to eLicense and get a special program they have that should clear up the error condition and let you run zMUD.

Yup. For the Code 23 error, just contact support@elicense.com and they will get you fixed up. I checked the page too... it does say AC Explorer. Are any Gurus in a position to update that page or get ahold of Zugg to get to it when he can? This may cause a bit of confusion over those who aren't sure where to look.
