I often get the error, "Control '' has no parent window", when switching between databases using the ComboBox control. This error pretty much hoses up everything, once it occurs. I am no longer able to do anything on the mapper screen, and the pointer "hourglasses" over every screen, including the user sessions. Fortunately, I am still able to send commands to the mud, so I am able to rent normally. Then, I am forced to use the Task Manager to terminate zMud, since even the Quit button gives the "Control '' has no parent window" error.

Near as I can tell, this only starts occuring if I have multiple databases open at the same time, and possibly only if I am using the #FIND command against one of the databases. Since this is something I would routinely like to be able to do, it would be great if this didn't cause the program to become unusable. I'm uncertain if changes to the database and/or mapper and/or user configurations gets saved properly when this happens, but I doubt it, since the Task Manager has to be used to shut down.

I can provide any additional detail you may require in order to run this down. I will continue trying to isolate the set of steps needed to duplicate the error.

Bump. Just mentioning that this still occurs in 7.20b as well. I still haven't got full steps for duplicating this as yet. Since I'm generally just trying to play, I don't often set out to cause the problem since then I have to terminate the app via Task Manager. But at some point, I'm going to want to have multiple databases available, at which point I'll likely have to narrow down the cause of this.
