Problem of translation to Perl

I have several questions about the new function of Zmud 7.x.
In the Zmud 7.x, have a new function which auto translate the original mud coding into the perl regular expression. But when i translate my old mud file, some of them show that "The pattern does not match" after the translation.
For example
In the original code have a prompt on the trigger ^{|> }, after translation the prompt become ^(:?> |). Although it may be work, but make me difficult to check the pattern match or not.
And I am playing chinese mud, i first time used zmud 4.62, there nearly no chinese word bug, but when i used 5.55, 6.62, even now 7.03, the word bug seems become more than the previous version. This not only affect the chatting in chinese, but also make the trigger coding become diffcult, i need use many %* to ignore the word bugs.
I hope zmud develop become more user friendly, even the chinese user.
