Macros and and command line entry field

Hi,

Is it possible to select all, clear text or move cursor on command line entry field from macro with some commands or such? I'm trying to make text editing macros for key combinations like ctrl-a, ctrl-e, ctrl-k etc.

Clear text can be done with the ESC key.
Cursor movement can be done with the arrow keys.
I don't know of any default macro to Select All at the command line. However, this can easily be done with the mouse.

To define your own macros, use the #KEY command or the settings editor. For the values, use the #MENU command with Edit|Clear and Edit|Select All. I can't think of any way to create your own macros for cursor movement within the command line.

Many of the CTRL keys already have defined values and this includes all three of your choices. It might be better to use ALT key macros instead.
