Zmud Clock Settings Error |
When I attempt to start Zmud I receive the following error:
"Clock Change Detected!"
"This system's clock has been set back. Please restore it to the correct time and run the application again."
My clock has -not- been changed and shows the correct time in both windows and CMOS setup. Before this error was received, Zmud generated two errors, neither of which I understood as it was programming jibberish (which is not my forte), both of which appeared in the middle of use.
I don't know where to go to correct this error or what I can do to prevent it. Any opinions/helpful hints/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

This might not be an easy problem to solve. A few years ago it was quite popular to set the computer clock back to get additional test days for shareware versions. So to prevent that they store the last date/time the application was run. If the time is less than that when it starts up next time it outputs an error message.
Perhaps it'll go away after a few hours, perhaps it believes the last time you ran it was around the year 2010... A possible solution to the issue is to release the license, and then license it again. Then it has really no reason to believe you have cheated. If it still does, though, you should email e-license and explain the issue.
Good luck! |

The date on your system clock is probably wrong.

I recall checking my system clock in CMOS immediately after receiving the error; the clock -was- showing the correct date/time.
After checking this morning, the clock was one day behind and 15 minutes slow. Once I corrected this fault, everything ran smoothly.
Thank you for the input. |
