Getting an Unknown error when loading map

I just bought the license, and installed zExplorer.

After I entered the license information and it starts to update, it gives me an error when "loading map places.mdb" with an "Unknown" error message. When I close the windows and zexplorer, it pops up the following error message.

"Access violation at address 00010001. Write of address 01C0CB6C."

I tried the unlicense, uninstall, reinstall, re-license, and it happens every time.

There is no url line in zexplorer.ini.

Any idea?

Go to the page http://www.zuggsoft.com/data and follow the instructions given there for your version of Windows.

I had MDAC 2.8 installed. Is that too new?

I installed JET 4.0 SP6 OLEDB as instucted. I still get an unknown error on the loading places.mdb, but when I close the program I now get:

Access Violation at address 00010001. Write of address 01C0076C.

I uninstalled again, cleaned the directory, un and re-licensed. I am about to call it quits. I guess it just doesn't like my PC.
