Zchat |
Ok, I have the newest version of Zmud and have downloaded zchat. I put zchat in the same directory as Zmud. For some reason, it will not load as a plugin for Zmud. I tried "install plugins" but it said that zchat.exe is not a valid plugin. Anyone know what i should do? Thnx

.EXE files are not plugin files, so of course ZMud's going to throw a fit when you try to tell it to use such a file. You need to find the appropriate .DLL file, which probably is going to be in that .EXE you downloaded.

Ok, thnx *slap self*
Anyway, i have everything set up now... but it won't let me connect to my friend. We triple-checked ip addresses, and neither of us are behind firewalls. But it keeps giving the Cannot connect to xxxxxxxxxxx. Help? |

Is that person also using zmud? There is a MudMaster user box that
can be checked for each person. Once you try to connect once, and fail
that person will be on your list in the zchat window. Right click on
the person and select properties, in there, check the mudmaster user box
and try to connect again.
That's for all annoying mudmaster users who insist on talking to us [:p] |

Problems:
PGP v2.62 not compatable with win2k
PGP v8 not compatable with zchat |
