Hello.

I run windows98 and I just upgraded to the new BETA version of Zmud (6.40 I think?). Now when I run the program, I get the initializing screen but then I get an error that says 'The Parameter is incorrect." [}:)] Then I get the illegal operation for Zmud, click close and the program ends. Can someone help me figure out why I can no longer run Zmud??

You should probably check which version you have. 6.40 is a public version from Dec 2002. The current public version is 6.62 and the current beta version is 6.67. Unless you are using one of these two, you should probably just do another upgrade.

If you are using one of the latest versions, check the zMUD FAQ and Migration Guide. You can find both of them from the Support link above. You may have a problem with MDAC or JET OLEDB, so be sure to check the information on the www.zuggsoft.com/data page referenced in the Migration Guide. The sticky threads on this forum have some additional information which might also prove helpful.
