Achaea-MCCP Compression Error, and Logoff.

Occasionally, when I do a long list, such as who, or Elixlist, I get an MCCP compression Error. Also, when I log off, I never get the ending, the part that says Thank you for playing, you have played x number of times. Or something like that, it's been a while since I last got it. Achaea's administrators have been notified, but they asked that I say something here too. Thank you.

The logoff problem is a known issue in zMUD. If the MUD places pain uncompressed text in the same packet as compressed text, then the uncompressed text doesn't get displayed and processed before it gets the logoff message. In other words, the uncompressed text is still in the zMUD buffer when it gets the disconnect signal and doesn't get flushed before zMUD closes the window.

As far as the compression errors when doing a long list...I have never seen that before. If you can find a way to reproduce it then let me know and I can have you create a #debug log file for me to look at. I can't think of anything in the current code that would cause it unless the ZLIB engine I'm calling has a bug, or unless there is something wierd going on with packet boundries at the MUD end. But this is the first report of any problem like this.

Of course, now that I want to, I can't get it to happen. Before, it was almost a regular occurence. If I get it to happen again, regularly, I will post again. Thank you for your time.
