I know this is a wee bit off topic, but there is a link to it on this website so kinda on topic too. Have any of you guys signed up for the Mud Companion magazine? I signed up when Zugg first linked to it and got issues #1, 2, 3 but I still haven't received issue #4 and all emails I've ever sent asking where it is have never been returned. And we're talking issue #4 was supposed to come out august 2002, so it's over a year or more. Have any of you guys gotten issue #4 / had any problems getting the issues? Maybe if it's a fraudulent site it should be removed from the links above?

It's dead. The last I heard he still planned to publish issue #4 at some point. The problem is that he didn't get enough subscriptions to pay for the publishing and wasn't getting enough content to publish. I've left the link on the Zuggsoft page so that people can still go to the site and contact the editor if they need to. But you'll notice that the offer of a free issue with zMUD is no longer on this site.

I wouldn't call it "fraudulent". It's something he was excited about trying to do and didn't get much support for. I put several hundred dollars of advertising money into it to try and help support it, but that still wasn't enough. I thought it was a good idea, but apparently not enough other people did.

Aye, I was quite excited by the prospect of a MUD magazine too. But I did pay for 4 issues and only have 3. I guess it's not that big a deal moneywise, but I do still feel a wee bit ripped off. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed that he does get around to publishing issue #4. As for contacting the editor, like I said -- I've sent of many emails and none have been answered so I don't know how much use that link is.
