3 little questions

Hi,i got 2 questions:

1st,is there any way to force #echo command to be executed on a window, instead of being executed on the window you actually are?

By this i mean,i got some tiggers by doing #echo something
then,if im on other window, this echo will echo on that other window, and tiggers on 1st window wont work.

2nd question,is there any way to make zmud tell me if there is a way to go a room,i mean,if i am on a room, and i want to go another,i want to make zmud echo 1 if i can go,or 0 if i cant.
I can go if there are links, cant if there arent.

3rd question, is there any way of get zmud maps to 'know' there is another way of going to a specific room, for example,by getting a portal,so it uses that way in case it cant go other way?

Thanks a lot [^]

For your first question, the command you are looking for is #SAY. The only difference between it and #ECHO is that it outputs to its own window whereas #ECHO outputs to the one that has focus.

You didn't say what version of zMUD you are using and the answers to your other two questions are highly contingent on that... I'm not sure in what version %walk was added (though I know it is in the last two public version milestones, 6.40 and 6.62), but it's essentially what you would use to figure out whether a route existed.

As for the third question, as of the latest beta version (available only in the beta forum for now, though Zugg may release it more widely soon), support has been added for portals which do just what you are describing. If you want to get it and mess around with it a bit, the commands that deal with them are #PORTAL, #UNPORTAL, %portal and %portalenable.
