Mapping on Threshold |
90% of the time, the mapper works correctly but I would like to nail in the remaining 10%
The problem seems to occur when extra text appears between the Description and Exit lines. In that case, the mapper doesn't seem to catch the fact that moving into a new room has ocurred.
Has anyone been able to tweak the standard mapper settings to fix this problem. |

Try looking at the help for the #NOMAP command and see if it will do what you need.

Well, after taking an extra look at the problem, I don't think #nomap will deal with the problem. And, I now don't think it is associated with an extra text that appears between Description and Exit. I suspect there is something else going on.
This is a room that will not update in the mapper. Matter of fact, doing a 'look' in the mapper will not update from this room. Perhaps there is some invisible code being sent that fools the mapper.
Is there an option in zMud that will allow me to see the raw data being sent to it?
