Capturing Mobs Properly into Room Description |
Hi,
I am having problems capturing the mobs into room description (which I want to do). Scenarios as follows:
NORMAL:
Room Name
Multi-line Room Description
Multi-line Objects in the room
Multi-line Mobs in the room
Multi-line Exits
Prompt
When the mobs are visible, the mapper is working well, as the description will appear as
A dog is here.
However, when the mobs are invisible or when I am able to detect their alignment, the mapper does not capture such lines:
examples - * denotes invisible mob, (Red Aura) denotes evil mobs, etc
*A dog is here.
(Red Aura) An evil mob is here.
Is there anything I could configure the mapper to capture these properly too?
Thanks |

The characters you mention '*()' are not included in the wildcard the mapper uses, that is why they are not captured. Not much that can really done about it. Best you can do is manually add such mobs to the description, however as mobs really is an anacronym for mobile object blocks you should consider that they may move and really are not part of the room.
