Windows Issue

I am somewhat computer illiterate so this problem is probobly something very simple. I searched the zmud faq first and found nothing that could help me. The problem is this...just recently I discovered that I cannot access other windows while my zmud window is up. This used to be done using the "start bar" but now I actually have to close the zmud window to check any other windows ranging from a simple instant message to explorer. I have been using the 6.16 version for awhile now and this problem never came up. As far as I know I have done nothing different and have not made any changes that could affect this. Any help or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try maximizing the zMud window or manually resizing it so that your start menu again becomes visible.

Maximizing and resizing have been tried unfortunetly with no affect. I am able to see the start bar just fine as well as the other windows listed along the bar. I just cannot open them without first closing zmud.

You might be running zMUD in 'On Top' mode. Look at the button to the right of the zMUD main window's title bar. There are 6 buttons there in this order:
|+|.....|^|.....|<-|.....|minimize|.....|mazimize/restore|.....|close|

Now is button 3(|<-|) active? If it is then click it and the 'On top' mode should be disabled.

Note:
Minimizing zMUD while in 'on top' mode will let you access other windows as well.
