CPU rockets to 100

Hi, i'm really sorry if this was ever discussed before and i tried really hard to find it but failed so here it is.
Ever since we installed a Router for our internet my Zmud crashes everytime it tries to save/auto save settings. The CPU rushes to 100% and Zmud simply stops responding. I am using 6.62 on a windows 2000 computer.

Sounds unrelated to the router. Actually sounds like a corrupt settings file. I think there's directions for fixing that on the Support page.
