1)I think perhaps you can. It would be found in Preferences if so.
2)only via a script, and that's going to be very, unacceptably slow. The exception to this is if you only wish to indent wrapped text, that can also be set via Preferences and is by default set to 3 spaces. |

You most certainly can disable Scrollbars. I have it set that way on my CMUD layout.
It's under Preferences -> Session -> Scrollback.
As for the second option, Matt's right, you'll have to use a script to set a margin. |

only child windows can have the scrollbar removed i believe, one of the options in the #makewindow command though to be honest, i never tried using it on the main session window
