Strange ways of going into rooms |
Hi
Im looking into how could i get zmud to walk into some rooms when speedwalking.
Thoose kind of rooms are like,for example,i must pay 500 gold coin to an orc,and im teleported to other room,or,i must say something,and im teleported to next room.
Im tryed using room scripts,putting tiggers on them... but no succes
I thougth about making a tigger,so when i go into that room,i say or pay or do whatever in order to go next room... but what if i want to stay that room not going next? :| |

Trigger on whatever it is that makes you teleport away (this prevents the mapper from zapping to the other room simply because you walked into the room), and use the #TELEPORT command in that trigger.

Understood,the problem is i want zmud to be able to go alone by using #walk command,so,if i do that,it wont be able to get the path in order to reach where it needs.
Your solution is nice for mudding and if im back on the computer ;)
I tryed something like:
link the room to north to the room to which im teleported
get a trigger on the 1st room like that:
#trigger {you cant go that way} {say get me to the next room}
that way,zmud would be able to safewalk to it,but no trigger only for one room allowed,right?
Any ideas?
Thank you for help |

This is what the "Other Com" field of a link is for. Simply create the link in whatever direction you want then fill the proper command into the field. zMud will automattically send the correct command and move the map pointer when speedwalking, the command is manually enterred, or the direction for the link is manually entered.
