a problem? |
Hello
Awhile ago I made a strange discovery... When rightclicking the link to zmud and chosing 'elicense control->license details' I get this message:
License state: Unlicensed
Installed on: 2003-05-19
Expires on: Unlimited
Days left: Unlimited
Total executions: Unlimited
Executions used: Unlimited
Executions left: Unlimited
Time left: Unlimited
zMUD still starts up OK. Does this mean that this version of zMUD is free? [:p]. Oh and I want to thank Zugg for this great product! I still remember when I registered it 3 years ago. Time sure goes fast. Was the old 5.55 version back then that was the most recent stable release. The 6.x versions came as a complete surprise and what a version [:0]. I could sit down for hours attempting to find bugs to report. I think the step from 5.55 to 6.x is huge. 6.x is also much more stable than earlier versions. I wonder how 7.x might be and what new features it would have .
(and no... No no no NO! I have not used any crack for this. This is what elicense says. I have a valid license key for zMUD.) |

Well I think you have answered your own question.
IF you have PAID and REGESTERED your ZMUD the your lisence is UNLIMITED.
The e-license is what one buys when one regeteres.
It is unlimited and zmud upgrades are free for life.(I think) |

That's probably an entry for one of the older versions of zMUD that used an older version of eLicense. When the new version of eLicense is installed, it sometimes tends to leave the entries of the old licenses in there.
