zExplorer 4.10 BETA available for download!

The latest version of zExplorer is now available.
This version is compatible with the new database server scripts which allows anyone to set up their own zExplorer map server.
These new scripts support the advanced features of zExplorer, including posting Notes, editing/deleting your own notes and locations, the User Rating system, and reporting problems with locations and notes.
To demonstrate these features, a new location database for Asheron's Call 2 has been created on the zuggsoft.com server. This is a cleaned up version of the AC-Spedia2 database.
To use the new database, delete or rename your AC2.MDB file to allow the server to download a new database file. You should only do this if you have not made significant local edits to your AC2 map database since you will get a brand new database from the server which will not contain any of your edited information.
Next I'm going to start working on porting the other features of AC Explorer to zExplorer. But for now, give the new version a try and start playing with the Note posting ability and the ability to report problems with data in the database which should allow the data to stay much cleaner and accurate than in the past.
