Mapper Error

Whenever I try to open a map in 6.62 I get the message 'KindTbl: Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset' and the program crashes. If I create a new map, I can freely open and close it, but if I try to open another map, I get the message again. I believe I upgraded the maps to the new format correctly and I have the latest MDAC installed.

What about the latest JET stuff? They took those files out of the MDAC upgrade or something like that.

Yeah, I dloaded the JET stuff, but when I tried to install I get a setup error saying 'Setup has detected that the Service Pack version of the system installed is newer than the update you are applying to it' and won't let me install. Thoughts?

I'm having the same problem. Am running ver 6.62 - two days ago I could access my maps - now I can't. What was the solution!!?!!
