zmud mapper 6.16 and room names

my mapper has stoped mapping room names.
now it puts the first line of the description as the room name and the rest as the description
however if you 'spam' the direction it picks up the second room name properly

when i use a completely blank settings file (plus dirs of course) it works fine for all rooms. 6.62 (which the mapper stinks on imho) does the same thing so i'm guessing it's something my settings but nothing triggers on teh prompt while i'm mapping cept the inherent prompt to variable code in zmud. i have a autoheal trig that works on part of the prompt but it is disabled and i have a few trigs that work on the variables from the prompt. is there some sort of problem when the settings file starts to get big? because i have alot of settings

In The Dense Forest Between The Hills
You are standing among tightly packed trees between several hills. You
lost track of the path long ago, and now must rely on your instincts to guide
you. The ground is very rough and rocky here, and only the most hardy plants
survive. The crowns of the old trees leave the hills in an unreal twilight
illumination.

You are at the end of a small shaded path leading between the trees. The
forest is quite thick here, and the ground is very rough and hilly, halting
your progress. The path lies to the south.

A small mushroom grows nearby. [2]

i'm guessing the fact that it is on the prompt line is making it work properly
so my first guess was the prompt was being read wrong
bug i got it setup so it should be one right
and #TRIGGER {^|(*)} {#tag prompt} doesn't help

my config is :

Version: 19
Name Start: 0
Desc Start: 1
Desc End: 5
Exit Start: 2
Exit End: 6
Exit in Prompt: 0
Exit in Name: 0
Exit contains key: 1
Name paragraph: 0
Desc paragraph: 0
Exit paragraph: 0
Bracket prompt: 1
Short exit names: 1
vNum in Name: 0
Exit keyword: Exits
Exit after keyword: 0
Match room name mode: 1
Use Descriptions: 1
Entire exit paragraph: 0
Single char exit: 0
Autoprompt detect: 1
Complex prompt: 1
Prompt char: |
Name ends in period: 0
Number prompt: 0
No MUD Prompt: 0
Room Name Propercase: 0
[Map Script]

[Map Explore Script]

[End]

moving the paragraph numbers and line numebrs around don't seem to fix it

anyone with ideas as to what is going on would be appricieated
