copy paste bug? |
when I copy something in zmud it only copies for that specific window. i can paste to the command line but not to other programs or even a settings window unless I paste to command line then copy it again
I've talked to other people running 6.62 and no one has had this problem, and I can't see it as a setting anywhere. is there something I'm missing? |

How are you "copying" it?

I tested using a main window and two child windows. I dragged the mouse to select text in each window.
Ctrl-C and Edit/Copy cleared the selected-text highlight in the main window and the first child window, but not in the second. They also placed the selected-text on the clipboard in the main/first child windows but not the second child window.
If I selected text in all three windows, whichever text was selected last was available from the clipboard for pasting.
Conclusion: Select the text you want to copy immmediately before pasting it and don't select text in other windows. This should work regardless of which window it's in. |

guess I'll try re-installing I guess as I've had some wierd problems with zchat also
if I select something and just ctrl+v it does the exact same thing, it deletes whatever I've got in the clipboard and will paste into the active zmud command line but nothing else |
