Multiple triggers vs. Single-trigger |
Is it much more inefficient to have 2 triggers with the same pattern to change one variable each, than to have 1 trigger to change 2 variables? I need a certain pattern to change the state of four or five variables, in addition to some other stuff that needs to be done. The trigger is getting very big now, and it would be much easier to add new triggers, mainteanance-wise

This would be easier to answer if we knew the triggers and variables. In general, two triggers should take approximately twice as long to process as one.
However, it sounds like your real question is:
If I split this up into two triggers, will it slow zMUD down too much?
The only way to answer that is to try it. |
