%write in 5.55

I'm trying to write some information to a file. I glanced at the helpfile for the syntax, and I put in what I thought was the correct arrangement of info, but I can't seem to get it to work

It's
%write(i,s,rec)

I have put in
%write(C:Stats.txt,{<@STR, @DEX, @INT, @LCK>}, 0)
All it does is show my line again and sends it to the MUD itself, which it shouldn't do. No information gets written to file.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?

I don't use 5.55 anymore, but try looking in the help file for the #WRITE command.
