connecting others
 
how do i connect 2 zones together using an 'other' exit? to get in, you enter, to get out you type leave. problem is, in the text it says to use the linker, that only does nesw ect., it wont work for zones, any ideas on how i can do this?

You can use the linker. Create a new exit, set it to type other, enter the appropiate exit command and then click on the / (re-link) button at the top of the window. Change zones, and select the room that it leads to. Be sure to correct the exits in both sides to be of type other and contain the appropiate exit commands.

However, I find that the easiest way to do all of this process is when first creating the room. Just walk into the new room (the one from the other zone) as normal and let the mapper create it in the current zone. Then, select that room and choose Edit|Move rooms to zone, to move it to the other zone.
