Missing Lines?

I am frustrated by this one. At Whitesands MUD, where I play, if I attempt to do an inventory or a "look" command, sometimes a blank line will be returned instead of certain items. If I log in using telnet I'll be able to see the item. I've tried every preference setting on and off attempting to correct this, but so far no luck.
For instance, if I have in inventory:
a bag
a midnight-blue cloak
<prompt>
Then I'll see that in Telnet, but in Zmud I just get
a bag
<prompt>
Any clues? |

only thing i can think of is that the game may have colored the items the same as your background color... can you read the text of the missing item if you highlight the line its on?

Is your password either "midnight", "blue" or "cloak"? zMUD gags lines containing your password, so that may be your problem.
Another possibility is that you have a trigger somewhere in your settings firing on one of these words that is gagging the line.
