Need some help with highlighting.

I came across a script to create highlight lists. For the most part, The script works like a charm. However, It only highlights the name when the name is at the very beggining of the line, If there is any text before hand, It won't highlight the name.

Trigger is:

Pattern: @highlight1
Value : #CW 12
Trigger on Trigger
Trigger on Newline

Is there anyone who can help me get it to highlight the name at all times, Even if it is within a string of text? Thanks for the help.

Don't use the beginning-of-line character, ^.

Actually, I wasn't using any characters before the pattern. It's just:

@highlight1

Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Yes, you are indeed missing something.

@highlight1 is NOT your pattern. It's merely the name of a VARIABLE which contains your pattern.

You need to put these {} around the variable name, this tells the trigger to match the strings found in the variable.

#TR {{@highlight1}} {#CW 12}

Pattern: {highlight1}
Value: #CW 12
