Registering zMud using old e-license code? |
I remember reading somewhere that you could register zMud using your old e-license code. I still have the code, it's a 16-character combination of letters and numbers, if that helps. However, I do not have the e-license stuff installed on my computer. It's the thing that used to be in the Control Panel.
If anyone could help me do this, it would be appreciated. I can't find the page I read now.
I'm also wondering if I could do this with CMUD instead. Thanks for reading. |

zMUD 7.21 comes with a utility to do this for you. See this sticky thread.

You can retrieve your updated license yourself from our online store. Select Lost Registration Code from the Support menu at the top of this web page and it gives instructions for retrieving your license no matter how old your previous license was.
The utility mentioned above won't help you with CMUD at all. CMUD and zMUD are different products with different license codes. The code that you get from the zMUD utility will only work for zMUD. |
