Saving Menus?

When I try to save one of my menus(multistate one) it always keeps the same # of states. I used to have 5 on them but now I only want three and when I press save it changes from 3 to 5. Any Ideas?

I don't recall any capabilities for menus to be multi-state so I am going to guess you mean a button. To delete a state from a button or trigger switch to the states tab, right-click on the state you don't want and select delete row.
