Error after upgrade

I need help! I upgraded to the latest beta version and now nothing works. I get the error CHARS: record not found and Zmud just sits there. I am running win2000 had 6.40 running just fine until I upgraded. Is there a way to unistall this new version? Have I lost my Character files? (I hope not as I have 100+ characters on one mud alone)

Discussion and comments about the latest Beta versions of zMUD. Access to this forum is restricted. To get access, fill out the Application Form.
Searching the beta forum for "CHARS: record" results in 6 links. (perhaps rename your zmud.ini to something else and try to load)
