The Mapper |
I haven't usually had problems with the mapper, but for some strange reason it is acting up now. Here is a room name/description/exit:
Edge of Pash valley ascending Putoran hills.
The stars twinkle in the clear night sky. You see exits leading north,
southeast, west, and northwest.
The Edge of Pash... is the name.
The Stars twinkle... is the description.
The You see... is the exits.
2923h, 2740m ex- is my prompt.
For some strange reason whenever I configure the mapper, it doesn't recognise the name, and uses that as the description. It avoids the real description and it does find the exits.
I REALLY need help, thanks. |

You may need to tweak after auto-configuring. My guess is that even though it is picking up the exits correctly, that is the actual cause of the problem.
Adjust the exit detection to Exits in description, and Multiline exits. Put the words "You see exits leading" in the Exit line keyword field and make sure Exit line contains key is selected. Those 4 changes should be more then enough to fix it, and should not cause any trouble detecting other rooms. |

You may need to check the option "Room Title ends in period" or however the option is named. I believe by default that zmud's autoconfigure has a hard time telling the difference between a room descript and a room name when the both have punctuation. |
