The zMUD Database Window

Does the zMUD database window have to be open in order for scripts to modify info in a database? One of my zMUD windows logs certain actions on the MUD to different records in the database very often, which means the DB window constantly pops up to change data, so I can't actually play the game in other windows (risk what you're typing overwriting info in the database when the window comes in focus).

Yes, the database window has to be open.
Having the window popup when you modify records isn't necessary.
