Stacked Commands |
My problem is this: When I walk around my mud, sometimes I spam in many directions, often over 60. Now, occasionally I am waylaid by "aggressive" monsters, or my fly spells wear off, leading to varied problems. I am curious if there is a way to cancel stacked commands sent to the mud, and if so, can I make a trigger to "remember" where I was in the list when I was so rudely interrupted, ie, if I wanted to go 8 north, but got jumped by a mob after 4 moves, it would cancel the 4 stacked north commands, but remember that I still had 4 moves to go. I don't know if this is possible or not, but thanks for your time in reading this.

Yes it is possible. What you want is an extremely complex script, the last time I did it for a mud it took me over a year to get it working perfectly. Unless your mud has some crazy exit protocols I would reccommend you use the automapper's slow walk mode to do exactly what you want.
