license error

I just installed zmud 6.55 and when I put in my license information it sits there like it's not doing anything for 5 minutes and then says
quote:
unable to get or install license
Retrieval of license failed with error code = -4
Error in parsing data returned from license servers
Can anyone please tell me what exactly this means and what I can try to fix this? |

This is from the FAQ on eLicense's page:

* -3 or -4 Unusual. Indicates a problem with the data returned from the license server. This may be remedied by correct proxy settings. Sometimes it can be caused by the presence of personal firewall software on the computer. Contact us using this Support Form link. Please provide exact details on the steps leading up to the error occuring.
If it is not a proxy or firewall, then try contacting [url="mailto:support@elicense.com"]support@elicense.com[/url] and inform them of your problem.

Thanks Kjata, it actually was a transparent proxy problem but since I run the proxy myself I just turned it off long enough to license the new version.
