Logging One Line with Trigger |
i want to hae a trigger setup to log a line everytime that line is recieved, and just append it to the 'auction.txt' logfile...i dont want to open a new window to log from there(if its possible)...the output is as follows:
[Auction] Robert : Got 1002 from Rama(bree). Do I hear 1022?
-its all one line, and i just want to log that line(basically log all auction activity)...i could have a trigger like:
#TRIG {~[Auction~] Robert :} {#log auction.txt}
but how would i just capture that one line, then stop logging?

A log is a continuous record of activity, not a line here and there. Use #FILE and #WRITE.
#AL atconnect {#FILE 1 auction.txt}
#TR {~[Auction~] Robert :} {#WRITE 1 {%trigger}}
