Stupid Question

This is kind of a stupid question, and I should have no trouble with it, but for some reason I can't find a simple work-around for it.

I made an alias to replace a command my MUD uses, called 'emoteto'.

#alias emoteto {emoteto %1}

Obviously, this is causing a loop. Is there a zMUD command I can use to send 'emoteto' to the MUD, without looping? Something like #noop maybe? (unfortunately, I'm at work right now, and don't have zMUD installed for trial-and-error work)

Thank you for your time.

Yes, its very simple. By using the "~" symbol you force zmud not to parse the word.

so use #alias emoteto {~emoteto %1}
