zMud Mapper |
I am trying to use the mapper inside zMud in a totally "disconnected" fashion - i.e., I want to manually add rooms, etc. Currently, it seems as though it still tries to track my movements within the MUD even with Keyboard Creation selected. Is there a way to get it to totally ignore movements within the MUD?

What i've been having trouble with is a custom built mud being mapped. See, there are points in the mud, that if you go nw, you might not be coming back to the same place you once were if you head se again. How do i get that fixed without having to search through each rooms description and find it? (because alot of the descriptions are the exact same or a variable mix).

I usually try and drop a certain number of coins and set the room's id to the
number of coins dropped. Its a way of mapping mazes.
Builders make such areas on purpose, expect them to be hard to map with the mapper.
They are hard to map with paper and pencil.
Read the help file on "Editing your Map" to quickly manually update your map in an
offline mode.
