zMUD 6.53 and colors

Whenever there is a < character, everything followed by it is made bright red. Any ideas how to fix this? Any changes I make in the preferences, such as special characters, and script parser options don't affect it. 6.40 didn't do this.

This is a beta issue, it is related to a fix of an old bug with unclosed MXP commands. If you are not currently using an MXP enabled mud and do not use MXP in your scripts then you can disable MXP to avoid this problem.
