Need help with ZMUD on XP |
Ok here is the situation. Installed XP service pack 1 and now ZMUD 6.53 or 6.40 won't run. Getting - Your computer does not have the needed system file to run this software. On the bottom corner getting a 0.0x. Ran Comcheck.exe and I am getting no errors or warning. Try to reinstall the MDAC and the JetOLEDB and it says that it is already installed or the files are newer. I am running as the computer administrator. I read somewhere that it might be missing DSN (Not sure why would SP1 erase them) but can't find how to recreate them. Any assistance please!

You are correct in your belief that the error message is indicative of an MDAC/Jet problem. Comcheck has a save feature. I would suggest you save the results of your system report as a text file, make sure the saved file shows version numbers. Zip that file and email Zugg at support@zuggsoft.com with a statement of the error message, and the attached zip.
