want a trigger to track leave direction of target

I want to create a trigger that puts the leave direction of a target (@target) into a variable (@LeaveDir).
the mud text is this:
Bud leaves north.
I tried this but it wouldn't work:
#TRIGGER {@target leaves &LeaveDir}
Any suggestions? |
