You didn't mention what version of zMUD you're having trouble with. I've not seen any other eports of random lockups, but perhaps something about your version and maybe a corrupt trigger or alias is involved.

DOh, sorry forgot the main part ;)
Currenlty I got 6.53 beta.
It happened before, when I had 6.40 installed as well. That's why i decided to upgrade to the latest release.
I really don't have any fancy triggers or aliases. I am a newb in mudding world, the only trigger I have is to wield a new weapon, when the other one shatters, and I have a hand full of aliases, but they are all directions to the areas of the mud I play on.
Like I said it happenes randomly, I might be chatting or fighting a mob, and all of a sudden it is not responding.

Ive had this problem with 6.53 aswell
It dosnt seem to be a trigger/alias problem
as i tested with 2 diff char files
One had macro's alias's and triggers for a lot of things *300 all up* and the other didnt have any it crashed more times on the one that didnt have any triggers/alias's
Tried with a smaller then default buffer and no change |
