are there anyway to put in a custom exit into a path? like enter portal?

The only way i've found is to manually enter it. It should look something like this:

4wn;enter portal;.ne2nwd2en

You need to be sure to use a '.' or whatever your default movement char is to restart the path after the enter portal command, as shown above.

nods but then you could just aswell make an alias.

i saw something about view/directions in the help file but i'm not sure what it means

You are talking about the #DIR command. This lets you create a single character direction for any command you want:
#DIR q "enter portal"

You would then use q in the path where you want it to enter the portal.

ooo never saw the dir thingi (mayby Zugg should make a ref to it in the help about path)
