Logging -> Colors -> Mismatch...

I'm trying to log logs in colors, but the problem is that the colors on the log differ from the screen. Anyone know how to have it exactly alike? And also, texts seem out of orders on some lines... Is there a way to log exactly what you see on the screen?

The logging in zMUD writes everything you see on the screen (except for commands if you have it disabled) to the log. With ANSI Logging on, it writes the exact ANSI codes sent by the MUD too. Of course, if you have re-mapped your colors to different ones, then the codes won't correspond to the actual color displayed.

I havn't remap any colors setting within zMUD itself... maybe this is a bug? Colors are really messy...

I can't reproduce this. I make a log and all colors are exactly the ones sent by the MUD.

I don't know how to post a log on this forum, but problems I have with the log is..
texts not lining up straight, colors on text where colors shouldn't be (ie exit and prompt) |

Open you character and go into the Preferences. Under Emulation in General, disable the Emulate control codes option. Now, connect to your MUD, and do something which normally appears incorrect in the log. Now, copy this output and paste it in here (preferably between "quote" tags).
Next, re-enable the emulation of control codes, make sure that the logging is set to log colors and connect to your MUD again, this time with a log. Do the same thing you did before and close the log. Open it and copy and paste here the log (which should be of the same output you copied before).

Can't get it to fail. I create a new character, log on to the MUD, do look which displays the exits and prompt and then start a log and do look again. I stop the log and open it up in zMUD's Editor. It looks the same as the MUD output witht he same colors.
Try opening a blank character (hit ESC at the character selection screen) and connect to the MUD. Then try creating the log and compare it with the MUD's output to see if it is some setting that might be causing the problem.
