Registering with an old key

I purchased registration for zMUD a couple versions back. I then got out of mudding and am getting back into it. I come back to find a wonderful new version of zMUD with even more fucntionality but my old key no longer works.
I did a little research and found that I could have upgraded my old version to the new one with no problem. Unfortunately, the hard drive that had that version crashed and I only have the saved registration key and not the software. :( Is there any way to now update my old, paid key to work on the current zMUD version?
