Caled do a forum search, Site --> Search --> Search Forums. The default google search doesn't always pick it up. I think Zugg changed it so that it will but you have to clear your cache or cookies first. I can't remember which.

Hmm, I removed the "safe" option from the search bar a couple of weeks ago. So I'm not sure why it isn't working.

No, ZeosLib talks to the SQLite.DLL. So if they have a drop-in replacement, then it might work (well, once I upgrade ZeosLib to handle v3). Not sure how the encryption would be enabled...maybe that's a specific SQL statement or something?
Delphi has a very specific API for doing databases. The databases need to tie into this API so that Delphi "data aware" controls work properly. ZeosLib is a layer between the raw database DLLs and the Delphi database API architecture. |
First post in this thread has some examples:
Encrypting, decrypting and attaching to encrypted databases
It looks like as long as you can write either custom connection strings / data source strings or custom SQL queries (the ATTACH command), or ZeosLib has a place to enter a password that gets added to the connection string, it would work from ZeosLib. I can't be sure though. The documentation (including API) is in the source download (in SQLite.NET.chm) which can be read without installing anything. (I guess the binary installer also installs it.) |
