Roll Up button disappears after awhile...

After I've had zMUD open for an extended period of time, I notice that the bar across the top of the zMUD window has changed. It doesn't gracefully go from dark blue on the left side to light blue on the right. Instead, it becomes a bar about 2 inches long of dark blue, then a 2 inch long bar of slightly lighter blue, then another slightly lighter, and finally one that's light blue. Also, the Roll Up icon is gone from up there, and so is that little '+' symbol. The close, restore, and minimize buttons are still there though. What gives?

The extra buttons seem to vanish whenever you connect or disconnect. The shading is by design, it should be relatively smooth, but does not always look that way.
