Triggering on a VT100 scrolling region

I am playing on Realms of the Dragon (rod.org:3000) and use the hud (heads up display).
How do I get triggers to fire on the top or bottom regions? One more thing about the hud, how do gag lines without messing everything up when using it?
I hope that someone can understand what I am trying to describe...

Yes it sounds very much like Mortal Realms whose source was released a few years ago. As far as I remember it is quite difficult to fire on the top and bottom regions due to the fact that only the bits that need updating are sent leaving prior things as they were. I believe there was a 'refresh' command which did a full screen update and that may help.

I'll connect and have a look.

[ * Edit: Later on]
You may wish to make use of

hud refresh room
hud refresh player

These will refresh the top and bottom regions and should make creating patterns easier, set an alarm to send these commands as often as required.

There is also

hud rate 1

which will set the refresh of the hud to 1 heartbeat but how long that is I've no idea.
