Mega keyboard macros

Is there a way to assign macros to extra keys? I just picked up one of the Logitech g-series keyboards with the 18 extra keys. I tried assigning keystrokes to the keys so they could immitate real other macros (assign G1 key to simulate holding down CTRL+ALT+1).

Anyone know any tricks?

i use a Nostramo n52 Speedpad2 myself, i havent really found a way to get it to recognize them as extra keys, but by using the software that came with i would assign unsual key combinations to them that would ordinarily nevery be uses

shift + Alt + Key8

Alt + Ctrl + MULT

Then set a zmud macro on said combination to do whatever i need done

that seems to work rather well for me
